We slept in till almost 12pm. Kind of wasting the time here but we need to recharge ourselves after the long weekdays. We lazed around, watch some television programs, surf the net and other stuff till 4pm. We are meeting Steven and his wife at their house for a mini BBQ session at 6 sharp. Prepared our stuff and set off.
We took the bus down but needed to transfer to another line which will bring us to the vicinity of their house. I saw this building where they sell books, like Borders in Singapore. However, as soon as we transfer line, we somehow got lost and called Steven to ask for directions. Instead, he drove to where we are and drove us to his house. We stopped by Trader Joe's to get some drinks for the BBQ. Trader Joe's was more to the organic products, a healthier choice of product for health-conscious people. The supermarket was small though, way smaller then Singapore's NTUC Fairprice.
We reached Steve's house in 5 minutes, Trader Joe's was in the vicinity of his house. As soon as we get there,
we helped throughout the preparation, setting up the cutlery, lay the table, arranged the food and filling the glasses with juice. It was not long before we could start eating. It was a mini feast. We had steak, one for each, pork chop, scallops, salmon and salad. The salmon prepared by Shih Png (Steven's wife) was fantastic.
After the main course, we had ice-cream and fruits. We had a chatting/discussion session throughout. The topics are about industry and then the current affairs in Singapore. The session goes on till 11pm. Steven drove us home and the day ended.
