We meet Richard and Ari, staff at SESI. After that, Ari gave us a challenge to do. It was to model a space rocket, he say it was easy but the catch was that it must be able to hand to another artist for easy handling. As I didn't touch modeling in Houdini, I kind of struggle with this challenge. However, I managed to finish and I am quite happy with the result (will have screen-grabs). Had some free treats from the staffs.
After a few hours, Ari gave us some time to prepare our storyboard. I had some ideas which were taken from different places. We had to pitch in our boards to him. After approving and happy with all our boards, he told us to polish it and pitch it to Mr Steven Ong, our industrial mentor on thursday.
We were given a half day off as they were preparing for a 2 day confidential forum.
Fun.
Afterwards, we went to take a walk at Nordstrom shopping mall, a mall just stone throw away from our office. We had to withdraw money at Citibank ATM to pay our first rent. The journey there was quite far and had to pass by a row of shops. We took time to walk in shops we are interested in. Also, just before the ATM, we entered a organic market and got some ice-cream then headed for the ATM, a block away.
